All you have to do is :
- Run the terminal console, and then write "sudo wvdialconf". If a window appear asking for password, then give the password of your linux UBUNTU system. This command will detect your CDMA modem automatically. If your modem detected then it will write the configuration to file "/etc/wvdial.conf".
- You need to edit this file to make sure that the dialling rules (dialling number, username and password) are suitable to your provider. So, just write "sudo gedit /etc/wvdial.conf".
- For internet service with starone from indosat, fill these paramater at the file, dialling number is #777, username = starone, password = indosat.
- Now you have your modem connected to the PC. To get connected to internet just simply write in terminal console "sudo wvdial". It will start dialling the ISP's number and connecting to the internet.
- That's it, now you're ready to surf all the day....
